My work lives in motion:

- distortion
- light leaks
- soft focus
- real emotion
- great acting
- abstract angles

I’m drawn to moments on the edge of themselves, when control drops and something honest breaks through.

I don’t want perfect. I want alive.

I move between experimental cinema, abstract painting, and photography... whatever let’s me test the edge of structure. I’m not attached to a single medium. I’m attached to the moment something stops behaving.

When an image, a frame, or a painting begins to slip out of control, that’s where it becomes alive. That’s where I’ll be!

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Whenever I’m funded by a project, ideally I use it to move toward unique gear and a ticket to anywhere I haven’t been.

          To travel,
                meet,
                    & document...
ARTISTS,

FILMMAKERS,

People working outside of polished systems, in different cities and cultures.

...To find them,
      SIT with them,                                       LEARN from them.

The work that comes from that movement (film, photography, painting, etc.) becomes a kind of map. Tracing invisible threads between places and people like a cork board with an ever changing case that never seems to be solved.
